Aftermarket Spare parts giant Motorspecs approached Ian Luff Motivation Australia to enhance their sales conference program. Looking for a point of difference to engage with their team we attended their conference held at the Citygate Hotel on Conrod Straight, Mount Panorama Bathurst.

Ian Luff delivered a keynote presentation, our team then divided the group into ten teams of ten where each group had to build a plane out of raw balsawood materials. Working as a team they not only had to build the plane but also decorate it with one of the key brands the company offers.

Each team had to fly their planes off the roof of the hotel and were judged on, flight performance and branding. Followed by a gourmet sit down lunch the group discussed the process of enhanced thinking to create better outcomes for both the company and their clients.


After lunch the group moved to the pit area of the famous Mount Panorama racetrack where we coached them through dirt rally driving. Each person was timed and drove three different vehicles over the same track, this fun factor made the overall ending of the conference memorable and built long lasting loyalty within their team.

Mark Soukias the General Manager of Motorspecs has reported that even still today, his team members talk about the event and reflect fondly on what they experienced.
