Ian Luff Motivation launches Toyota Aurion V6
‘Oh What a Feeling’ has been the highly successful catch-cry in Toyota’s advertising for many years. When Ian Luff Motivation was contracted to event manage the driving activities for the launch of the new V6 Toyota Aurion the challenges this provided had Ian Luff’s team really working outside the square.
Turning the Sydney Olympic Park precinct into a fully functional private Toyota test track including Hot Lap arena necessitated a total new thinking in event management. Looking after some 400 guests of Toyota Australia with a very tight time line and involving them in five different driving disciplines is not easy, but the feedback received was nothing but positive. It was stated that – “this was the best driving event ever put on by Toyota”.
Requiring 3 months of strategic planning and a staff of some 40 Ian Luff Motivation personnel plus 10 security guards, to look after Toyota’s intellectual property at the event, when the final vehicle was loaded on to the transport trucks, the team at Ian Luff Motivation now know the true meaning of ‘Oh what a feeling’.
